  1. This software package requires the "mmu.library", a shared system library to
  2. program the "Memory Management Unit" available in most modern Amiga
  3. computers. To install this library, just copy the contents of the "Libs"
  4. directory to your "LIBS:" directory on the harddisk.

  7.                         Yes, it is really that simple!

  10. Just two side remarks: Other programs that program the MMU bypassing this
  11. library might cause problems then, at least when they are started when the
  12. mmu.library is already running. As there hasn't been an interface to the
  13. MMU before, there's nothing I could have done against it, programs that try
  14. this stunt won't have cooperated in first place either. The most important
  15. example is, unfortunately, the ppc.library. Please use WarpOs instead, and
  16. run Frank Wille's ppc.library emulation on top of it, this will work
  17. correctly. It might be furthermore a nice idea to run the "MuLockLib"
  18. program in the "MuTools" drawer somewhere in the startup-sequence, behind
  19. all possible MMU hacks you might find.

  22. and programs that support it, require documentation, need more insight into
  23. MMU programming, or whatever: Consider downloading the full MuLib

  34. "disassembler.library", the version 40 releases of the "68040.library", the
  35. "MuTools", including "MuForce", "MuGuardianAngel", "MuSetCacheMode",
  36. "MuScan", "MuLink", "MuMove4K", "FixCybAccess", "CheckFPU", "MuOVLYMGR",
  37. "MuLockLib", "MuOmniSCSIPatch" and the corresponding documentation, known as
  38. ".guide" files. The "Program", below, refers to such program. The "Archive"
  39. refers to the package of distribution, as prepared by the author of the
  40. Program, Thomas Richter. Each licensee is addressed as "you".

  45. under the restrictions stated below, but are also Copyright (c)

  51. distribution, whether directly (as in payment for a copy of the Program) or

  53. payment for some product or service that includes a copy of the Program
